Kaitlyn Behnke

Kaitlyn Behnke sustained multiple concussions as an athlete and has been managing her Post Concussion Syndrome (PCS) since the Fall of 2015.

 

Through her recovery, she partnered with Team Luke Hope for Minds to support children with acquired brain injuries and ran support groups for other PCS sufferers. She has helped numerous individuals back to a happy, healthy lifestyle after head injuries. 

 

Kaitlyn has done advocacy for concussion education on platforms including Good Morning America and The New York Post. Using her degree from The Business Honors Program at The University of Texas at Austin, Kaitlyn founded The Concussion Network. She is on the TBI Advisory and Leadership Group for the new National TBI Technical Assistance and Resource Center (run by the Administration on Community Living). Kaitlyn now helps others navigate the journey through recovery.
